NEE !! Linux IS het OS onder de motorkap van verschillende linux distro's zoals daar zijn mandriva, red hat, gentoo, ubuntu, ... Fedora kan beschouwd worden als de core van de red hat distributie. Het zorgt voor packet managment en dergelijke.
Gentoo heb ik ook geprobeerd, lekker nerdig... nu overgeschakeled op ubuntu, ook heel cool.

Dees is fedora core 4. Het logische is dus dat er al 3 "voorgangers" zijn gepasseerd.
